Thomas Wray Falwell is the senior partner at Comins & Newbury LLP, having joined the firm in 1973. He received his A.B. in 1968 from Boston College and a J.D. in 1971 from Boston University School of Law. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1971 and to Federal District Court, District of Massachusetts Bar the following year.
Tom’s primary area of practice is in commercial and residential conveyancing in connection with which he represents purchasers and sellers, institutional lenders, residential and commercial developers, builders and landlords. He advises development clients and other property owners in the permitting processes, as well as individual purchasers, sellers and landowners with respect to zoning, environmental and conservation matters.
A member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, Tom also served for nearly 25 years as a Director of Cambridge Savings Bank and a Trustee of Cambridge Financial Group, Cambridge, MA.
A nearly lifelong resident of Arlington, Tom now lives in Acton. His free time is devoted to golf, spending time at the family summer cottage, traveling and attending sporting and other events involving the seven grandchildren with whom he and his wife, Pat, have been blessed.
